You can build the head of the bolt up with weld then weld a nut to it, just get it really hot and rapid cool it with some penetrating oil. Because the head is aluminium the weld will not stick to it. I have to do exhaust manifold bolts weekly on Silverado and sierras so I have learned a few tricks vs pulling the entire head to have a machine shop remove it.

When I had a broken bolt on the rear PS head I ended up pulling both heads and doing a $500 top end rebuild. In retrospect, I'm kinda glad I did as it gave me some peace of mind and got me more familiar with the internals of small blocks (they're very simple). However, it was definitely a pain in the ***.

I wrapped up a few overdue maintenance items last night. Voodoo driveshaft, OEM coupler replaced, CS toe rods, Mevotech rear upper control arms.
The upper control arms really had a minimal effect, but the toe rods are much more firm. The squishy rubber bushings in the OE toe rods did not play well with the 95a trailing arm bushings. I was getting a squirly feeling from the rear in a straight line. That is now gone. I matched the new toe rods to the old rods to maintain the alignment. Just stuck the bolts through both rods at the same time while I had them laying on the floor and adjusted them accordingly. I'll probably have it checked again before I replace the rear tires, but it seems to be right on.
The Voodoo driveshaft is everything it claims to be. Glad I don't have to deal with an aftermarket unit and the troubles others have experienced at twice the cost.

Yep, just after the bend in the pipe coming from the center of the car, right before the OEM mufflers and angled down just a tad so they aren't pointed straight at the spare tire tub.
Stays quiet when I want and loud when I like it.

I have all the CS bushings& mounts, still wheel hops. broke a dif once already, replaced with later model srx 3.90 ratio. Since the driver side CV broke, going to try a bigger shaft on one side to counter the wheel hop.

100% the same way I go now with my car, but I will try to use the LS2 shafts on both sides, not only driver side and will upgrade the lsd with more preload or more discs inside!
You have looked into the lsd, I have broken preload washer from clutches inside, then you only have 1 wheel spinning at burn out?!
Regards
Ronald
