Just mounted some sweet 255/40 Michellin PSS

rears were bald as heck, so replaced rears for now. I'll do fronts later.

I brushed 6" of snow off the V and drove the wife's Subaru to get more gas for the snow blower. Turbocharged winter cars are fun.

Ran out of time or are you only going to run with one? What's the general consensus there? I see they sell them individually, but was unsure what the recommended setup was.

Today I froze my *** off in the garage prepping my CTS radio. Dropping the car off at the shop on Thursday for the big installation. Can't wait.

I sat here in Afghanistan and thought about mine. All lonely. Sitting in storage. Covered in dust.

my bad dude.. here are a few pics. My front bumper/lowerlip took a plastic hubcap to the face a few years back causing a nasty scratch. I did this to cover it up and try the new look. Platidip holds up great but gets dirty easily and is hard to wash.

winter DD status at the moment

Yeah I only installed one at this time. I'll see how it goes for a while before installing the other side. I could always sell it to a 04-05 guy. I only tested it really in the rain where it performed great. I don't beat on the car, just want to minimize the hop for the rare time that I encounter it, so I might be content with the single axle.

Installed Spectre Cold Air Intake ($119.99 at Advance Auto). Worth it for looks and sound alone. Added clamp to lower radiator hose for small leak, didn't fix it, looks like radiator is going to be replaced this weekend as well. While down there I noticed rubber coming out of the balancer hub replacing that as well. If that fixes my 2500 rpm vibration then I will probably just do the motor mounts and headers and skip the LS7 clutch for now.

At the dealership(local) to have the clutch pedal position sensor replaced and the original wheel locks taken off since the dealership(not local) I bought it from lost the key. I got a call from the shop and the guy told me that the replacement wheels locks that were given to me by the dealership(not local) weren't even for my car, but for a truck!!! I also learned that my incredibly expensive "platinum" extended warranty service doesn't cover airbag-related issues, so they won't cover my "front right airbag sensor"... I'm frustrated.

I did an ATI balancer (rubber was poking out slightly as well, never got any worse though), and UMI Mounts a couple months ago. Before I noticed no vibration even with the worst motor mounts I've ever seen, now it is very consistent in the 2000-2500 range. It's the flywheel.

Finished up wiring a redundant positive and ground (0/1 gauge) from the new alternator directly to the battery.
