Pulled off the front, resprayed the grills with plasti-dip, tinting the turn signals tonight. Headers and motor mounts to come, just too damn cold.

What color did you go with for the powder coat? I'm looking for something a little glossier than the standard plastidip job and have considered a black chrome. What did the shop quote you for those two pieces?

I chose a high gloss black.

I'm painting the trims myself should look really good once I'm done I'll post pics of my trim for sure.

I payed 75$ and I could of thrown in a few more items the guy said.

But I also had found a shop wanting 175

so shop around man. I googled powdercoat and my Zip code.

Finally got my exhaust tips to quit rubbing in the back after header install. So much quieter (no drone) with the exhaust not touching anywhere.

I have to have the extensions trimmed and welded on my car after the header install because they stuck out so far and rubber the bumper.

I found/bought a full LS7 clutch swap setup on Craigslist for a steal. Even after paying for shipping, I still saved over $200.

I've spent the last few evenings replacing inner tie rods, a front brake rotor that was warped, sway bar bushings, a front lower ball joint, a front shock, and tomorrow I need to go get a drill bit for the corvette end links, figure out how to get the rear coil spring isolators out so I can insert a spacer below them, put the newly powdercoated wheels with brand new continentals on them back on and head to the alignment shop...

Our mods are not that far off from each other. Do I feel a trade coming about lol Id love the challenge of a black car considering how much money I have spent on detailing supplies in the last 6 months

Got the car tuned for the my mods and longtubes. Runs good!

Yesterday, I cleaned it up and put a coat of Griot's sealant. First time using the stuff and I loved it.
