V owner's other cars
I've been wanting to ask this for awhile. What all other cars do you V owners also own? And is your V your DD or do you daily drive something else?
I also own:
1992 Mitsubishi GS-T (FWD) - 5 speed, stock turbo (for now, the 62mm turbo had too much shaft play), stroked to a 2.3L engine with 8.8:1 Wiseco pistons, Manley Rods, ARP Head studs, FP3x Cams, Supertech Dual Valve springs, 1mm O/S SS valves, FIC 1250cc injectors, Wally 255, Aeromotic AFPR, Tial wastegate, tuned with ECMLink on e85 @ ~14psi.
1995 Eagle Talon TSi AWD - Automatic, 2.3L Stroker, 9.0:1 Wiseco Pistons, K1 Tech rods, ARP Head studs, HKS 272/272 cams, Supertech Dual valve springs, stock turbo, FIC 750cc injectors, tuned with ECMLink
1992 F150 - 4.9L inline 6 5 speed 4x4 (this truck is junk and never gets driven unless it's at the farm or there's snow/ice).
I bought the Talon in March of 2012 non-running. It's still in a non-running state as I keep going through torque converters launching them. I've been trying to build this as mostly a drag only car. It'll get there eventually just need more money.
The Eclipse taught me everything I know about cars. Bought it when I was 18, rebuilt the motor in it a few times, ran a 62mm turbo @ 26psi and made a little over 400whp on a dynojet. Its a really fun car on the street and from a roll. Could never get it to hook at the track. I've been DD'ing this to try and keep miles off the V. I'd rather drive the V on the weekends or when I go out instead of 60 miles a day back and forth work. Plus e85 is only $2.60/gal here

I'll bite since I love talking cars. Especially my cars.
I still have my Legacy GT. It's running a little bigger turbo with all the supporting mods, and tune. With the crown jewel of cat backs (Stromung).
Also recently sold the other car. It needed to go, mostly to fund the V. 92 Corrado SLC

I just got a new DD...2013 Chevy Cruze ECO, which replaced my 2001 Z24. It's a gutless little thing for sure, but it has dual subs (Pioneer system) and a man pedal so I can deal with it. I also stole it for $14,600.
The others...
2004 V1 - E-Force supercharger, stage III 317 heads, BTR cam, Morel Lifters, CS 8.8" w/3.55 gears, Rockland Gear T-56 Magnum, and a lot more. I don't get a chance to drive it too often anymore.
2001 Z24 - Bought it sight unseen two years ago off Craigs List and DD it until I got the Cruze. I was going to gift it to a family member but lost interest in doing them a favor. If anyone wants a beater that gets 29 MPG let me know.
2001 Suburban 4x4 2500 - Fully loaded family/tow rig I stole for almost nothing. Looking for a plow for it.
1993 Corvette - 386 LT1 stroker motor that I built for boost or spray. Been sitting for a LONG time, just recently started getting on this thing. Needs an alignment if someone knows a good place to take it to in MD.
1987 Turbo Regal - Another buy of Craigs List sight unseen (had my dad buy it while I was in Iraq last summer). Has only 40k miles but the hillbilly that inherited it had it parked under a tree for years in front of his trailer. Don't know if I'm going to get it together or part it out.
Have a few others laying around in case I need to pull stuff...2000 Silverado, 1996 Aurora, 1984 Grand National. Also have the Harley's and quads etc.

Wow, nice cars up there, I'm not surprised.
I've got a restomod 240Z, a 67 Skylark convertible (20/20 quality, maybe 10/10), and a 59 Volvo 544 I'm swapping a 5.0 mustang drivetrain into (don't ask).
Wife drives a Volvo V70.
And I ride a Specialized Camber Comp 29.

Back on topic with the thread.
DD and occasional tow vehicle is the Raptor, it makes a horrible tow rig with the soft rear springs.
When I want to go fast, head cam 09 z06.
When I want to go REALLY fast. Twin Turbo V
And finally, when I'm out picking up the ladies the turbo Ruckus does the job every time.

The V is usually my daily and I have a Turbo Silverado SS that I drive on the weekends and also use it to haul my boat. The wife drives an Audi TT in the winter and rides a 600rr all summer.

i've had a lot of cars and trucks...around 26 so far.
Right now i've sold off most everything....including my cameras and guns...to make way for the baby that shows up in 7 months and a new house..
but right now, my small family is down to 3 cars:
1. my cts-v
2. my 2007 honda fit
3. fiance's 2000 civic coupe
the CTS-V is close to stock...and will stay that way. short shifter, exhaust, poly all around
the fit was bought new in 2007 and now has 180k miles on it....and just won't give up. factory clutch is about to finally go, so i'm going to gather parts to swap a k20z3 out of a newer SI into it and then do small things to get it around 225-230whp. Should make a fun mid-12 second dd
the civic is about to come down and get a full engine build for it...jsut gotta decide what route. h2b, b, or k. I want it in the mid/high 10's on pump gas
we're also looking for a 68-72 Nova to do a resto-mod on...but that'll be a few year process

Very cool guys! There's a lot of variety, and a turbo ruckus?!?! That's nuts! Looks like quite a few other project cars/race cars. Feel free to post build pics of them too!
