I've got a buddy that fields a total loss gsxr1000 grudge bike and his jockey weighs in at 122lbs. The only bike that scares him is the 1812cc promod roller cranked GS.

Couldn't have been more serious.

As I mentioned on the other forum, it can be done but I had a shop do my car.
There are some wires that can go, but cut the wrong one and the car will be useless.
As mentioned before, either tear it all out and go with a stand alone ECM like the new AEM setup or have someone very knowledgeable handle it. Don't just start cutting wires.
Currently I'm down to 3355 lbs. without my carbon fiber parts....

Junior1, how are your rotors treating you? I wound up getting a full set of RacingBrake two-piece rotors, pads, and stainless steel brake lines for $2150. Add on the V2 calipers and 4x SKF X-Tracker hubs, and I'm up to $3650.

I think your V is developing a serious case of anorexia... you may want to get a doctor involved.

On that note I bet that thing handles like a completely different car, what are the big things you have pulled to achieve that sort of weight loss?

There's a huge thread about it at CF I believe.

To the OP again - look into a 5 lug conversion so you can run light weight racing wheels. $$$$ though all added up though.

I think so far the biggest difference is the interior/seats, widows/glass, and the boat anchor flywheel/clutch.

After the apparent rotor cracking with my Coleman setup. I have 2 sets of the UUC/Girodisc 2pc that I will be installing for next season. We'll see how that works...

Sunroof panel would be a custom piece. Lightest would be made out of carbon fiber. You can buy the sheet and trim to fit. Another option would be to take dimensions and see if they match closely to another make that is already out there...

I think these guys make a panel with the dimensions you provide.
