Here is my before and after. I Did a shifter, bushings, boot, **** and had the bezel wrapped all at once.

I'm usually not a fan of 3M Di-Noc, but that looks pretty good. Did you do it yourself?

No, a friend of mine that works at a tint/vinyl shop did a favor for me.

Not to stray too far off topic, but has anyone ever considered having an entire surround machined out of 6061 or 6063 aluminum?

A well-machined, broad aluminum bezel might look good there.
