I got my car back this morning and I can finally shift into reverse like any other gear, finally. Reverse does engage a bit differently than 1-6 and even feels like the shifter pops into that gear rather than a smooth slide. If the opportunity ever arises for the back half of my trans to come off, I will likely add bigassogre's fork modification to my list, but for now, I'm just happy to be able to parallel park in the city again!

So basically the only part needed is the fork pads and a washer. The rest is modifying the existing fork ?

Dayum....I just replaced my clutch and had the trans out a few weeks ago. This looks like you were ***** deep in the trans though. Kudos!

I guess I'll just stick to shifting into 4th before Reverse, as mine isn't that big of a pain...for now.
