I connected the battery today and the car didnt explode...

I fixed my accessory power issue where i had all my accessories on while the ignition was off.

I am buyin 1" id Alu pipe so i may have a hardline that will keep the suction line from touchin the exhaust. Found a new route for the oil to go from the new tank to the engine without passing through the wheel well. So thats two birds out of the way

My 102" ID Samco intake tube is too small for my 105mm TB and 103 MAF so i asked for some custom size so i dont kill my fingers tryin to put it all together...I botched the first elbow i had while making a 22mm hole for the IAT, and Botched the last elbow i had tryin to cut the legs to length...It was a very sad day for Samco here, and it was all my fault...

I am making a list of parts i will need from Luke and hopefully he may fulfill my request...

I am now hopin that next week i may start the engine and hear her roar...Then i will take the wheels off one more time, go through the whole car loctite all neccessary nuts and tighten all the bolts to spec that i messed...

So by Halloween i will terrorize the roads once again

Today i sat down and planned out my to do list to get this girl started...

As tomorrows my B-day, i dont think i will get much progress, but i can let things move forward in the background...

I got my new 102mm elbows and will cut them to min length, i finally found 1"OD Alu tubing with 1/16 wall thickness, so i already placed the order for two -16 alu bungs with hex ends.

I also started to reroute the suction line through the water drain then will let it flow into the alu tubing and then finally into the engine...

I am startin to hate the idea of a Dry sump for all my delays are due to the dry sump upgrade...Most others would have used -12 lines and called it a day, but NO i had to use -16 suction and -12 return line...At least my spintric is also installed.

Parts all arrived, have given to Machine shop so they may produce a step inside the fittings so welding them to the pipe is easy.

Afterwards its install the ignition wires prime and start...

Then off to the alignment shop,

Tune, no meth tuning till the heat comes back...

and run...

Got my ride in good hands to get it over the last hurdle...

They have a small list of tasks to complete then its start up, idle for a bit, Alignment, and off to the body shop to tuck in the rear wheels inside the fenders.

Its funny how my friend who owns the garage pushed to help me get her road worthy once again...

Once i get her back, i just have to insert my exhaust vacuum pump for the actuators, and methanol kit. Then its off to the dyno for tuning

I have more than 4 degrees of camber. But its useless. 3.5 is more than enough to get my point across for a serious track car...

I just did a 800km journey to inspect a couple cranes for work, i am excited to see the progress on my car tomorro...

Alu front spindles, with extra long slots for more camber. 19x10 front wheels 305 wide tire, and 20x12 rear wheels with 325 wide tires...

I like the aluminum spindle swap in theory even for us street guys if we could get it reasonably aligned. Please keep us informed about he range of adjustment you have when they get it on the alignment rack.

Thanks!!

Got the engine started on thursday, had a bad case of detonation, thought it was a case of needing to relearn the Crank sensor. But turned out to be the ignition wires were backwards...

Smooth idle but have two coded P0107, and P0343. Will investigate the reason behind them. Those are the only two codes i have. I tried changing the MAP sensor, but it still registers 10kpa on the EFI Live display. I may have a short some where.

The rear lined up perfect. the front i am having a few issues. I have to grind the slots in by abut 10-15mm for the camber to reduce the min of 5 degrees to 1 degree, and the casters by about 10mm to match the camber.

I have a case of too much Neg camber...

Also the top arm is pretty high. you may see my issues here on my flickr account...

I've read and can't seem to find what you've done to the front to get more camber? I'm maxed out at -1 degree and my hoosiers aren't too happy with it. I'd like 3-3.5. I was just going to fab some shorter uca's but it seems you've found a different way?

I installed STS-v front Alu knuckles, with the V2 upper mount. I kept the bottom arm stock. look in this thread for the PN of the parts i mention, http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...13-forged.html FuzzyLogic used all the front end of a V2, you cant do that, you will need the upper arm mount from a V2 and the Knuckle from a STS-V. Its all plug and play with minimal down time. But once you do the upgrade you may have to recenter your rotor in your caliper, and get longer bolts for your hubs, etc...(18064146 and 18064147 these are the knuckles you need)

If you were to do this, you may have to expand your slots more inward to give you less than -4.5 degrees of camber.

I will be adjusting mine so i may have -1 to -5 degrees, so i will have an adjustment for the street and one for the track...

I ran into another problem...

As i changed the front knuckle from steel to Alu, i need to cut my steering tie rods by about 25mm. The problem lays in the fact there is a few bends to it making it near impossible to modify.

So i am in talks with Baer for a new Bump steer option. I just need to measure my current tie rod to see if the new one will be long enough. Baer's option is 3.25 plus the Heim head. The thread pitch is the same of M14x1.5, so i am covered there...

Will keep you all posted to my progression...

Car is at the dealer for the Key recall as well as a cluster change both under warranty. But my main concern is the clutch. Mine sticks to the floor, even after using proper methods of bleeding it out...Tried pressure, and vacuum both failed...
