It was a chick and she kept revving her motor and looking over at me. I'm pretty sure she didn't expect it to be that loud. Haha

Nice vids!

PISNUOFF's "burnout" in front of us was incredible. He went 1-2-3-4 gears so fast that his rears never stopped spinning. INCREDIBLE!

It sounds tht way but I only roll on first gear and bang second. The other two "shifts" are me banging the rev limiter. My tach really lags at wot and it'll be in the limiter when the tach says 5500. Plus, I'd rather bounce the limiter than shift to second when the *** end is slung out sideways.

Awesome videos! How many of you are from the Detroit area? Do any other local meet ups?

What's the big deal? I thought ALL first gen CTS-V's could smoke the tires and wag the rear of the car back and forth like that.

Nice vids Brian, especially the second one. From the looks of it, the "Getrag Black Cloud" isn't hanging over your head any more.

Halaluya...can I get an "Amen"

I I've in northeast Ohio and make the trip to Woodward every year. I did love in Royal Oak for about three years back in the day.

Those vids were at 16 mile and there are less cops up that way. You can see where they are when they are up that way.

We had about twenty of us (V1s and V2s) there this year with always two or three out cruising at any one point in time. We (well, a few of us) usually meet up at Baker's Restaurant in Milford on the first Sunday in May at their car show, and some of us join the Corvette guys in October for a run through the countryside, have lunch, and end at Dexter's cider mill. Oh, I forgot an occasional Saturday morning at Lingenfelter Build Center.

Here's a couple of pics from the Detroit Dream Cruise this year:

My friend that went to Woodward this year asked me if I went and I sadly said no. He was talking about how he saw a Nasty V that was crazy loud, and I assumed it was psn'f, and was right. lol

Nice job!
