Question Tracktion/Control light and ABS light and brake came on while driving

Today i was driving home from work and as i was merging on to the high i accelerated the car on 4th gear and then slowed down then all of a sudden the T/C light and ABS light, BRAKE light came on. Has this happened to anyone before or do they know what is the possible cause or problem? Also when i turned off the car and then turned it back on all the lights are no longer on.

My car had abs and TC light on due to rear hub wire ripped off when I bought my car. Bad speed sensor in the rear hub can cause both lights at once

Mine did that a few months ago. The cause ended up being a bad battery. The car started fine and everything, then those 3 lights came on and a few days later it started cranking over hard, then the battery completely died shortly thereafter. Put in a new battery and haven't had any of those dash lights since.

I was thinking a wheel speed sensor. Maybe take a look at them

I did have to jump start the car a couple months back after i was tuning the radio and my stereo without leaving the car engine on and the next day it required it to be jump started, and i have noticed it started to crank over hard

Thanks

Speed sensor is inside the hub assembly.

its just a plug back there with 2 wires coming out of it, but if it was damaged it would be on all the time Id imagine. Mine with the wires ripped out was on 24/7 right when I started the car

I've had two different wheel speed sensors go bad, and in both cases they were intermittent faults. I had to have the dealer tech pull the codes to figure out which one it was because visually I couldn't see anything wrong.

Mine used to throw traction control leaving the line all the time and sometimes would throw the abs also. Replaced the rear diff and hasn't happened since. Possible wheel speed sensor or check the slop in the differential. Could be on the way out.

Wheel speed sensor. Mine is ripped out too. At first the lights only came on every once in awhile.

I have a wire that is rubbed through so it intermittently hits the control arm up front and shorts out causing the lights and service stability system message on the DIC. I can repair the wire at least

Mine is similar to this, but it's the rear and take a little jostle of the suspension to set it off. I think the wheel hub is also making noise and I have one sitting in my trunk, just no time or spare car to get it fixed ATM. :/

From just swapping my rotors I will dread having to change out the hubs. The three bolts don't look fun to get to and they look likely to break.

Impact for the axle nut, and the job isn't that bad.

The axle nut is the easy part... lol.

On a good note I fixed the wire today; slid the f'd up insulation down, re-soldered the wire, heat shrinked it, wrapped them both in electrical tape, slid the insulation back down, and electrical taped that up. The wires are tight but being back on the harness clip they shouldn't move around and rub anymore.

once you get the big axle nut off you push the axle in and theyre not that bad. Its borderline impossible without shoving the axle in first
