2015 535i xDrive $52523.0 OR 2014 CTS-V Sedan $59247.0
With a new born baby, we decide to replace our current compact sedan. My top concerns are safety and reliability.
I compared different deals(online or offline) and the current best price is (2015 535i xDrive 52523.0) And (2014 CTS-V Sedan $59247.0). For the CTS-V, autpriceshare dealers provide 3 years extended warranty.
I searched deals shared by others in autopriceshare.com and these prices seem decent. I believe that someone here should own at least one of these two cars. Could you provide me some feedbacks about the safety or reliability of these two models? Need your professional advices.

535 has a **** motor and even worse electronics to run said motor. Go with the V. I've had BMWs from 02 M# to an x5 to a awd 3 series and all of them had major engine and or drive train problems

If you're looking for reliability, German anything should be off your list. Having lived in Germany, the Germans don't even buy their own crap, they lease for a very specific reason; they're garbage.

I've got a '14 V, paid $53.6k. Used with 9522 miles on it. Full factory warranty from Cadillac. Full maintenance too for 50k miles & 100k miles.
Gas mileage is scary low with a smaller tank than a V1 . . . but fun to drive

BMW 535ix in a heart beat...
Better internal finish, more stylish upgrades.
and its a better sale when your are bored of it..
All due respect american cars are just raw power, there is no refinement nor class with the finish. The bmw tells you when you have a burnt bulb. the caddy well it doesnt say much...

I'd normally say the V in a second BUT the all wheel drive in the bmw would be nice depending on what kind of winters you have...I'd probably still go with the V esp if it has recaros...

Am a CTS-V gen 2 owner so am obviously biased when I say get the V but if you're still unsure might suggest drive them both and preferable back to back. Doing that should hopefully clarify any doubts as to which way to go . Good luck.
