voodoochikin driveshaft sucks
I bought a driveshaft with the new center bearing in it from Matt (voodoochikin04) And its the worst thing I've ever done to my car, and I wrecked it before.
It's so terrible. My old center bearing was so bad that I had to hone my driving skills around the driveshaft flopping around and clunking. Now I don't have to do that. All the time I spent figuring out how to feather the clutch to get it to not clunk, was for nothing. Now I can pop my clutch pedal out like a normal car... what a joke.
Tell me that the old rusty driveshaft doesn't look better than the "new upgraded" one. If you tell me otherwise I will say rude things to you on the internet.
Another thing that pisses me off about this thing is the price point. 400 dollars to get a driveshaft that isn't going to flop around you'd drive tunnel? Get real. You can spend between 800-1000 and get a brand new OEM drive shaft that is GUARANTEED to give you the clunk.
All sarcasm aside, this is one of the first mods anyone should do to a stock car, definitely up there with engine mounts, eliminating the dual mass flywheel, and shifter. Not to leave out cradle bushings, but the above list is just to get the car drivable. The driveshaft also retains the two piece design, and has no ads vibration unlike a certain over rated shaft that's a one piece.
I very rarely put decals on my car, but voodoochikin04 earned it.

The only similarity of the V shaft to the base shaft....is they go under the car..... I joke.. But they are very different. The base cars use a flex disc at each end and use a ujoint in the middle. They so suffer from junk carriers as well. Torn rubber mainly. You cannot even remotely try to use a v6 Driveshaft in your cts-v...
