I’ve yet to find a reasonable way to add fi without doing extensive modifications to the car.

Plenty of superchargers fit under the hood. Or are they not available anymore or something? What am I missing?

Yeah most stuff is discontinued or impossible to find.

I would go lsa but have to cut hood cause no aftermarket functional cowl hoods 😡

The V1 is a depreciating platform. You'd come out far ahead value-wise with a more desirable platform to put a built motor in.

That said, the V1 is still a very good driving platform once it's been well-sorted. The LS6 is a fine engine and will respond very well to a heads/cam/exhaust setup. Plenty of fun to be had.

Agree with Bud. All the bolt in FI kits that I know of are discontinued. So you can custom build it, do an LSA and cut/fab your hood, or punt. V1 is still a great value for refinement+performance/dollar but you want better and easier in a sedan, you'll have to spend more on a V2, G8, or SS.

I also would plan on getting more into the engine later as money allows.

My questions are,
are kook headers the only headers that will connect with a corsa catback exhaust? I think I read this somewhere. Also what size would you recommend? Is a wrap or coating a must?

i can get a volant cai setup for about $230 is that worth it?

anyone selling headers????

I would be doing everything myself of corse.
Yes. Wrap and relocate your alternator wire. Use dei heat shield.

Wrap your headders. Coat and wrap for bonus points.

I run Chinese DNA Motorports headders. They are quiet nice and very well built. I don't see why they wouldn't work with the Corsa, several Guys on the Facebook page do with good results.

I also run 400 cell thunder bolt cats.

I have a Volant Cai and it's nice. Save your money and run a 3.5" diy intake tube. Easy to do, and honestly a similar result.

Can someone one please explain to me why I would go to 1 7/8 over 1 3/4?

Also so what will he coating do for me?
I run a 1 3/4" for noise level reduction.

Coating will reduce under hood temps. I used cerakote c7600 and wrap.

Do NOT use wrap on your headers unless it is a garage queen that never sees rain. Wrapped headers will rust, even stainless. If it's a toy or you live in the desert, wrap them. If it sees rain, daily duty, do NOT wrap them.

Plus that stuff is nasty on your hands if you’re working on/around them too.

The numbers I mentioned are perfectly feasible if you sweat the details:
