Question for those of you who have relocated the battery to the trunk. What size battery cable did you run? Any issues? Historically I have always run 1/0, but I'm trying to avoid adding any more unnecessary weight if at all possible. Thanks.

You're going to want MINIMUM of 4ga for that long a run, and that's if you've got no extra electrical goodies. I wouldn't bother doing this without going at least 2 and myself would go 1/0. A few extra pounds like those are well spent for the capacity. Make sure you upgrade the entire big 3 if you haven't already.

I have mine in the tire well and ran 1 gauge up front to a junction block where I attached the 2 stock positive wires. Ran a solid ground to one of the seat belt anchor spots. I also added an extra ground from water pump to the frame rail where another factory ground is. Everything works flawless and my voltage is better than before.

3/0 AWG on my car based on 240 A CCS and derating for temperature. I'm a little conservative.
