Default New to Me Shoes: Zone Wheels Model 1

Picked these up last night. I think I’m the only one with them. They were custom made by Zone wheels for the person. They are 3 piece wheels. The chrome is chipping but I want to remove it and just have a polished lip. What do you think?

Kinda torn I guess. They look quality. What are they 19 pr 20? I like fat tires better than fat wheels but that’s me.

If the peeling chrome is on the bead they might leak too.

They are 19". I will completely restore them. I might even sell them after I clean-up / repair them. Going to get the tires taken off tomorrow then I'll start stripping the chrome and re-sealing.

Looks like a quality wheel, just ugly as can be.

Does it help if I paid $450 for them?

I think, less spokes would look better on a Vee, these are to much and to thin, but for sure, a quality wheel by machining them, looks like milled from a billet piece?!

Pics on other cars. Like I said it’s the Zone 1 model. I plan to do the face black powder coat with either yellow or chrome/polished lip with chrome bolts.

I'm not sure I would go as far as "ugly as can be", but they're not my favorites. $450 for 3-piece wheels is a heckuva deal, though!

I love the honesty here!!! It’s not for everyone but the plan I have will cost me $3-400 to do. So I’ll be all in at most $850 for 3 piece wheels that only I have.

Not a fan of the style. They also make your car look like it has a lift kit.

Finally got around to getting them powder coated. One side will have the yellow lip and the other side will be black.

Thoughts?

You prefer these over your Forgestars? Not my cup of tea, but whatever makes you happy man!

The Forgestars have a nice clean look that everyone has. I love them and got a great deal on the Forgestars back in the day. I’ll have two sets to play with. Only $60 to switch it whenever I want. As stated earlier these are the only set that I know of on an CTS-V. It will be different and I’ve always wanted a car with different colors on one side. I can always just take the lip off and get it powder coated black if I don’t like the yellow. Will have them on by next week.

Aint too bad after seeing them painted. Not quite my cup of tea, but I see why you'd like them. Good work!

Interested to see them mounted up, I like the creativity and am always up for something different.

I like the design of the wheels. Makes the Caddy look mean and tough.

Might have resale trouble with the different colors but I dig the yellow.
