However, I suspect mine may been launched hard a few times by dealer folks (picked it up with 200 miles on it).

Hope that didn't destroy anything else.

Nothing on my garage floor yet...

Maybe my BMR kit is preventing this from happening.

PS: My parents live in Palmdale, I might see you one of these days.

a leaky rear isnt the only reason to get it replaced. Aslong as it is whining youshould be have more than enough proof that it will go some...

The procedure im getting wiht my dealer, braman cadillac, is that first they replace the fluid, if noise continues after 500 miles, replace rear diff with a new one.

waiting to get things in order to drop the car off....which i hate doing since ifrst i dont trust the dealer punks wiht my car and the keys in their hands and i just hate not driving my V!!

Has the rear diff issue been resolved with the 206 model? Can a Vette or GTO diff be fitted to the "V"?

Resolved - Dunno ?

The 2006 Part is stronger. Part Number attached...

I have had it in the car for 1000 miles...easy break-in. No whine - no concerns yet.

Plans include the BMR Brace and Hotchkis Sway Bars to control hop. Possibly also the Spectre bushings. I also have 2 quarts of Royal Purple to do an early fluid change.
