We're currently at 486 rwhp, and needing to do a little more tuning, as it is running a little lean in the upper rpm ranges. This car is probably just begging for headers and a cat back, along with a forged bottom end, cam, etc....

More updates will be posted today, and I still feel like ****... lol Bob

It's a mustang dyno. Hopefully I should get about 50hp more when I get it home to the dynojet dyno I go to.

dude, your posting, and im not throwing flames at ya.....

But you asked a simple question where in the thread you posted is the answer...

So...YES, IF you see above, mark has a D1SC PROCHARGER......on his CTS-V.

He was having an issue but al seems well, just made 486rwhp at a relatively low boost pressure, i believe close to 7lbs. (plus or minus!)

Smile Update: 495 rwhp on our Mustang Chassis Dyno!

This V is kicking ***! We removed the 4.25" pulley and installed a 3.85" one in it's place. We are now seeing 10 pounds of boost with no knock! We did a video of the car in action that we should have edited and up for all to see at the beginning of next week. Chip took it out and got on it for us why we were taping and the car went sideways for him when he hit third gear... Mark, this car rocks now! Bob

YES!!! got it running! I knew it would get done.....

So, it was a slipping belt?

One thing is for cetain, This motor/d1sc combo is just itching for more revs!!! If you had pushed it more, im sure you would of seen over the 495rwhp mark..easy!!! Thats over 500rwhp on a mustang dyno with a stock block, that easy a 550rwhp motor on a dynojet. Dude, im SOOOOO in.....

IF you added a set of valve springs, maybe the comp beehive'z, possibly a smallish cam, to about a 585ish lift, 224 duration on a 114-115 lsa, maybe even that CHEATR CAM from thunder with dual springs, pushrods; this V could be one bad machine!! Add a set of heads, fast 90mm and i would be set!!!!

Congrates guys....now, lets work on thw suspension part. Get rid of the nivomats and get the weight in the rear....blam..easy mid to low 11'z. (if only it ws that easy!!)

The belt was loose, but we only saw 7lbs when we tightened it. We then added a 3.85" smaller pulley, which brought the boost up to 10lbs. The rwhp is at the top end of what I consider to be reliable. A camshaft would indeed add some serious horsepower, as would some ported heads. Just a set of headers would add some good horsepower to this V! The bottom end is going to need forged before any other parts are installed.
We did add some BMR rear suspension parts while the car was at our shop, to help control the dreaded wheel hop problem. I'll try to get them on the website today. Bob

Mark said that traction in 3rd gear is not there anymore, since we upped the boost. I guess that means we did a good job... The BMR parts did seem to help out wheelhop, although it is harder to tell now that the roads are colder. Colder roads always aggravate wheelhop prone cars. Bob

You KNOW it!!! This car is INSANE!!! I've got to get rid of the bald runcraps, because it breaks loose in third gear. This thing makes about 350 ft-lbs of torque at 2300RPM. Somebody help me. I've got an affliction!!!

Actually I didn't, but I got some on a dynojet. The best I saw was 338/327. I'm going back there wednesday, and I'll post those numbers as a comparison.

338/327 on a dynojet is not bad!! Im sure on a mustang you should get close or under 300rwhp.

Well, if you consider that number, you jumped up almost 200 PEAK HP, with a stock ls6. With a little head an cam work, you'll need more than a fresh set of F1'z to keep that power on the ground!!

Dude, if you lioved any closer I would love to see it in person but im in miami..oh well, might as well get my own!!
