We're looking for quality and expect that the price will be commensurate with the quality we receive. (Damn I love those big words)

Don't know what you mean by clunker but the rear is going to be more then $5K. I'm working on getting the final price together this week.

Looking forward to seeing the price. Just curious, what's the weight change difference going to be?

Any word yet, Paul?
I'm still on my first rear, but I sense trouble on the horizon. I ran a 12.01 at the track. Nobody can be satisfied .011 seconds off of having an 11 sec. CTS-V I was trapping over 120 mph, so the car has an 11 sec. pass in it. I'm scared to put drag radials on the car to find out.
If I don't hear something soon, I'm thinking about going to a chassis guy and seeing if I can just do a solid rear axle or something else. I think I'd rather lose some handling than have to worry about replacing rear ends on a regular basis.

But, if there's no more word on the IRS setup, I'm going to run it past the chassis guy working on my TA (Jason Woods/Wizard Racing). Hell, if they build cars/suspensions from the ground up, I don't see why they can't squeeze a solid rear axle underneath a CTS-V.
