I might not have a choice, either. I was hoping mine would hold together long enough for this project to get done, but it looks like I might have to bite the bullet - either find my own solution, or do another Wetrag

this is sad.

A fix to the rear of this car would be like a golden ticket to mod heaven for most. I would think that you could easily sell 40-50 of them off the bat.

My chassis guy said he could put an IRS together for a fairly reasonable price, but we are looking at modifying a Supra IRS for the Caddy. I just haven't had the ***** to buy one and let him work on it yet. He didn't like my idea for a solid rear.

The other option was to give him my broken one and let him start from there. The problem is - GM took it back.

If you're dying for a rear end fix, I'd get with Doug at KARS Extreme, as he has a total rear diff solution for sale and doesn't call people whiny bitches.

One man's humble opinion.

I spoke with Madman yesterday. They are ready and have one tested for 20,000+ miles. I think the pricing will be $7,500.00, plus $1,500.00 installation. That included a lot more than just a diff, gears and some half-shafts.

I'm getting one as soon as I finish my never-ending f-body project.

Good to hear, MCasano1. I apologize for not taking the initiative and calling for more information. My main priority is school.

Thank you for the update, MCasano1

I will definetly contact Doug and see option(s) he has available. I appreciate the heads-up, Tony.

Doug won't sell it as a kit; it has to be installed in Ohio.

I think the Madman has to be installed in Baton Rouge, LA, but I'm not positive about that.

With those prices and requirements,
a 2009 CTS-V is looking better and better.

It's a shame.
I was really looking forward to a Madman rear and a 04 CTS-V.

Would it be too much to ask to post pictures? Is it an IRS setup or a solid setup?

Heres a link that the guy at Kars sent me it looks pretty good as far as I can see, but Im not sure what a c3 differential comes from. all in all I like the approach he took to it and I am thinking pretty hard about going drop my car off their... unless thunder racing get there **** together, and thats only because there in my home state and I happen to want a 9"
