06 cts-v dyno with headers and a tune!!

Default 06 cts-v dyno with headers and a tune!!

well i had to start moding it. it made 375 rwhp on the mustang dyno at h.p.e. that is about 386 on the dyno jet dyno ..this is with 17/8 kooks headers and a tune only ..i just ordered a cam so i will post back the results with a cam,pulley,and thermostat..i love the ls2 ...i would love to see 420 rwhp on the dyno jet ...i think i have a chance..its a pretty big cam.

Im still waiting for your wife to get all in your ***. Pretty soon it'll become another project up at you know where. BTW those are great #'s.

are you gonna do any head work?

Guys, whats the stock valvetrain rated at? .550-.570 lift?

Does are nice numbers, got a graph we can all see. Oh, is this through the stock exhuast? Would like to see a vid if you can get one...

yes that is through stock exhaust..i dont have a clip i will start taking pictures of it after 400rwhp..i dont want to get laughed at...

Wow that seems really good for a tune and headers just tuned mine and it only put down 342 HP and 323 FT/lbs. So do the headers make that much of a differnece?

Don't forget that with an LS2 you can always go with a Maggie in it, from those guys in Oxnard, CA.

pistons do u have an 06? it seems like the ls2 puts the power down better than the ls6.. Ive seen stock 04-05 V's put down under 320/320. Why is this?????

i also have a voliant intake with a k&n i didnt add that but yes i think adding headers and removing the cats adds quite a bit to it..i also put an x pipe on it and kept the stock mufflers..but mine did 348 rwhp bone stock on H.P.E. s dyno jet.so i think 27 rwhp is about right with headers cold air intake and a tune sounds about right..if i may ask who tuned your car?

well if it makes you feel any better i just bought a john deere tractor yesterday and the only color they had was green ...but yes i would have bought black if they offered it. think it looks good when its clean.

These numbers may be from a Mustang Dyno. Dynojets read higher.

My 05 GTO LS2 A4 just got dyno'd on a Mustang Dyno. Its numbers were;
320RWHP/358RWTQ.

The only mods to the car are; K&N CAI; 160*stat; Stock Predator tune.
