Here is a funny story, I picked up a girl for the evening she steps into my car, smiles wow nice car. I start driving slowly and clunk clunk clunk, Looks at me , hey is your car going to make it to the restaurant.............. I got red and said , do you like driving fast, she said yes, so i did, Thats the only way the clunk can be put under control. Anyhow for a 50 grand car it has it's drawback
After I had my 06 diff installed - the clunk was TERRIBLE.

Turns out the end if the driveshaft was tweaked and the yoke had no grease.

A replacement driveshaft made the car feel 1000% better.

Might want to check the driveshaft.

how did you get this across with your service department?

Can you explain exactly what ws wrong? The yoke had no grease therefore the clunking was horrible...
