You're correct, people come on these boards to learn. But the stupidity level is getting very old. I'm thankful he was'nt around when I was asking simple questions to increase power and learn. The thing is, he has a hard time being corrected. Even when your nice about it, the bullshit stills spews.
BTW, to the post starter, from what you have said about the current shop giving you LSx advice, they don't seem very knowledgeable on these engines. Just my opinion of course.

cam vs supercharger Ok, I know this topic has gone around several times, but now im leaning to the supercharge....I want quick response and the supercharger will give that, plus it seems when I finally figure out which cam and heads to go with it turns out to be less HP then supercharger. so, anyone know who carries one less then $5700, thats the best I've seen. My dealer is going to be pissed when I tell him I changed my mind again..hehe
also, can I use my K&N filter sytem with supercharger or do I have to use there closed filter system. even more important, when they reflash my cumputer it picks up changes I guess from supercharger, but will it pick on the B&B x pipe & filter aftermarkets and correct everything?

the tune should be able to deal with all of your mods, no worries there. I fyou r asking about a maggie, then you should probbly look into getting a custom tune since i have heard their stock tune isn't optimal....
