PIcking mine up today with new rear end. Took it in for the normal stuff, leaking on garage floor, sounds like the rear is going to drop in the middle of the innerstate when down shifting from 5th to 4th, ya know normal stuff...

I also had them do the recall for the oil temp gauge issue and now I have a new gauge cluster because they fried it in the process of messing with the download.

Also got the plastic around the nav replaced due to excessive wear. Not to worried about the one button that has small flake. I'm sure the replacement would have flaked too.

All in all pretty stoked that they took some responsibility and replaced the rear now instead of waiting until it totally failed and left me stranded.

Just because of my blown rear and stolen floormatts ive had 3 friends get new nissans and Toyotas. They didnt want to deal with GM's problems and thats all due to them not taking care of there customers and treating me like dirt! Was it worth it?

I guess I can't change my answer, but one vote should go from 0 to 1.

Im thinking of buying another V in the Next month and the first thing im doing is sending it to baltimore to get the Rear rebuilt. $2500, or you have the option to spend up to 8k+ to get different types of rears put in..... i plan on dumbing 6k into it the first week.....

I met with Wizard Racing in Holden, LA today. He thinks it would be best to stay with an IRS, so I'm getting my old one to see what he thinks he can fab up. Once he gets a look, he'll start brainstorming, fabbing and pricing.

Nothing for sure yet, but I obviously wouldn't be doing this if it was going to be more expensive than other proposals.

It'll be a few weeks, but I'll keep everyone posted. At least the ball is rolling on another front.
