Question How much are you guys buying them for used?

I'm contemplating picking a used CTS-V up, and was wondering what you guys have been paying for them on the used market.

Price, year, mileage?

Also, any good sites for searching for them? I've looked on ebay and Autotrader.com but not very many pop up. It would be easier for me to find a dealership near Houston that might have one. We want to trade in the '06 Mustang GT.

I picked mine up about 6 mos ago for ~37k...05' w/~6k, sunroof, certified pre-owned (100k warranty) nothing really wrong with it when I bought it besides the bumper and mirrors being eaten up by bug guts.

Not sure, but seems like most are up north Tony. To get one in houston, good luck. I have searched and looked and there just isn't a lot around.

I would imagine a low mile 04 33-35 and 05 for about 35-39ish.

I have been throwing around the idea about selling mine. But I like the car a ton, it has the 100shot dry on it, volant intake, tune by Gforce and 20" Iforge rims, limo tint and is black on black. Has 22K on it, and been sprayed at best 5 times, just have had no time to drive it all that much. But I like the way it turned out with the mods that it has on it, and spend quiet a bit of money so far on it. So it would take a nice sum of money for me to part with it.

$28-29k is a fair price for a 2004. $31-33k seems to be the going rate for '05s. The '06 prices are all over the map.

www.Edmunds.com gives more accurate pricing than KBB because their values represent "transaction" prices and not "asking" prices (ala KBB).

Edmunds does seem more accurate, thanks Patrick. I like the trade-in value for the Mustang better on KBB though, haha. ($24K vs $21K)

Yeah, sellers prefer KBB and buyers prefer Edmunds. Real world numbers are reflected in Edmunds FWIW.

I bought mine last summer. It's an '04 with the sunroof and it had 4,500 miles on it. It was spotless and I bought it from a dealer out of state for 33K.

Btw... I'm selling mine 04 Platninum 24100 miles. Sunroof.

It has the hotchkiss sway bars, cags eliminator, lingenfelter intake, uuc shifter, and BB X Pipe Exhaust. Will sell for 32K. Only owner. (If I don't sell it like this in the next week. I will take out the Lingenfelter, BB Xpipe exhaust and the CAGS.) Then sell or trade in.

I will also have some parts for sale which are not installed on the car:

Ipod Kit (the revised version) Brand New
Hawks Brake Pad Kit - Brand New

Anybody interested

98redM6, check out www.edmunds.com for an appraisal. Those seem pretty accurate from what I've seen around here.

Tony,

I'm in Conroe just north of you. I've been contemplating putting my car up for sale. It's a 2004 Plat without a roof. Car has 43,000 miles but they are all from a daily commute to Huntsville (70 miles round trip). Car has CCW (chrome) 505's with Michelin Ps2's. Upgraded audio (all JL Audio), B&B Resonator exhaust and Lingenfelter CAI. Car is Dynamatted from firewall to rear end along with all doors. It will have a new 2006 rear installed next Tuesday. Only doing it because the car is almost out of warranty. Car is very clean. PM me if interested.

Shane

Nice car Shane, but I need one with a warranty since it will be a daily-driver. I'm looking for one with less than 20K miles on it
