I don't like the KDW-2's (too "sport compact" looking). The KDW-TT (traditional tread) and KD tires I like are not available in EXACT factory size. Wondering if another size will work, even if I go wider with spacers. THANKS! ![Bang Head](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_banghead.gif)

I keep a set of BFG drag radials on mine. I realize that the tire is different, but I use 265/40-18's. Maybe that will help with your sizing concerns.

i have the kdw's all around and like the performance. the fronts are 245/45 rear 285/40. the 285's are a wide but look good on the factory rims, the tire shop said it wasnt bad to put on either. they have rub on me once or twice, but that was with about 300 pounds of **** in the trunk hitting a nasty speed bump the fronts are holding up really well, and you cant really judge by my backs (still haven't found a tire that holds up to 3rd gear burnouts) you can look at my pic's in the sticky at the top, my pic's are on the bottom half of the 3rd page.

My daily tire is a Bridgestone Potenza 275/40-18. It fits fine and maintains very close to the same tire height as stock, keeping the final drive ratio consistent with stock. I have a picture in the picture thread.
I keep stock sized 245/45-18's up front.

I'm using PS2s (245/45 front and 275/40 rear).
To use the 275/40s in the rear, the rear wheels were widened 1" (to 9.5) by Weldcraft. I also have 5mm billet spacers from Fred Goeske for suspension clearance.
Stock appearing (except for tire width), ride is more quiet and smoother. As far as grip, straight line traction is much better and lateral traction seems to be close to the run-flats.
I will need to get a spare.
