I can't speak directly cause I dont' have one but it seems like many people have found dealers that are OK with the maggie but I can't remember specifically how many went either way. jerrad, are you on the V forum at cadillacforums.com? If you search the CTS-V forum there, you will find loads of info.

Waranty and mods
Don't take this as the gospel, but I think you should be alright. I believe under the Magnuson-moss warranty legislation, the body that warranties the vehicle has to prove that the particular mod was the cause of whatever failure; otherwise, they can't void your coverage.

I'm aware of the legislation, but I don't think it would be too hard for the dealer to show that adding an additional 120hp to a car with an already weak rear end a failure of that rear would result

As far as searching other forums, I doubt you'll find much more(keeping my finger crossed for ya tough.) It all comes down to the fact that it is all between you and your dealer. If the deny you, you put forth said argument. If they still deny, threaten action. If they still don't agree, take action.
If they want to be dicks, then the matter could ultimatley be decided by an arbitrator or a court depending on your unique situation. These cases will vary state by state, city by city, and case by case. If you're willing to go that far, then go for it. If that sort of headache is too much, leave it stock. *Little voie in your head saying go for it :-)
Good luck either way!

All depends on the dealer... i know for a fact that Lindsay in Alexandria, VA will take care of you even if you have a maggie, hence why people drive from hundreds of miles away to go there... by far the best Caddy dealership you;ll ever find... i'm just fortunate they're in my backyard

My first diff went w/ a stock car. #2 and 3 were replaced after Maggie went on. #4 is still holding up but was told it would be my last under warranty.
Maggies are a VERY EASY way for dealerships to void your warranty. You can fight it, of course, but are you prepared to go to a long dragged-out court case?

Jerrad you ever thought about asking the dealer near you. I asked my service manager at mine and he said they would cover it under warranty if it is done right...I am not sure what they ment by that but...thats my two cents...

I would but I'm moving in a couple months so I don't know which dealer I would be going to. Also, I bet that they would want to install it to even consider warrantying it. When I get to my new location I'll ask that dealer I guess.
Thanks for the idea.
