I just skimmed this post. The 12-1 A/F is fine for a heavy CTS,I ussually tune heavy cars/trucks between 12-1 and 12.5-1.There is little to no power going to 13-1 A/F.

I like the sig of the first rear mount CTSV -- nope.Did one for a customer last year,he didn't like it so we went bigger cube after.

I;m surprised Mongolia still charges those high tuning prices.I've always been $450 for the full street/dyno tuning with retunes being $150.Got to raise my prices I guess.

Default NC Race Suggestion

Chris,

I'm just off I95 near the NC/SC border and we have 1.8 mile stretch in the swamp here that would be perfect for these two to square off on. There are no access roads or any other distractions. One car at the far end to flash the lights when the coast is clear and we're good to go.

Jon could come down and we could provide accurate eyewitness accounts to action.

What do you think.

What about this graph of my lid/catback A4 WS6.

Seems about right to me. So far it's been 12.89 @ 107. You think that dyno is happy? I can show you other graphs from CAM that seem low for the combo. I won't defend the tuning, but I will say that the dyno is pretty close to average.

if Jeffs case its not so much the dyno thats happy. most of the of the smaller mods show low at CAM. pretty much like he has a ''spend money at my shop'' cal. then ''okay you spend money, here is your big dyno ****'' cal.

dont defend what you allready know... these guys dont have dyno dough.
i questioned my numbers that day and they don't lie. you cant make whats not there.
dyno wars are silly to defend...a dyno cant make your car run better, it will only
expose whats wrong...not right.
how do i reach deez keedz!

you are waaay over your head, if you cant understand how and why a shop would mess with dyno settings. i've been in the middle of these wars myself alot mostly because management toted the
''both our cars are equal''
it was my job to not make my boss a liar so i would tweak the chassis dyno numbers

im over my head?
how tall are you?
how could you adjust the dyno to read "happy numbers" in back to back sesions where
the previous cars numbers were below expected output?
no1 left the room, no1 touched the machines, the only thing that happend was a car came off the rollers then another one was loaded and strapped down.
you cant fudge the dyno numbers from the hp tuner software...
so how is this possible?

its a click of a mouse, a rag that has been in your hand tossed over the temp probe. there are many more tricks out there that you wouldnt see or think twice about unless you have spend many many hours working a dyno cell..

you cant? i could have your engine in tiny pieces all over the floor with HPtuners, so to think i couldn't toss in a hot tune that wouldn't last 10minutes on the street for a big number or a cold tune that sucks must just be well over your head..

as far as your sheet you are lean, is it to lean to hurt something? depends on timing, duty cycle, and PE tables.. also what was teh DA ???

your right about the lean run...and 374 is not what i run on the street.
it's 362. so u do understand that hp tuners can effect the numbers...i just wanted to toss an egg and see where the argument would lead. lets just say we both understand that a great dyno run/number could fill your head with desire and possibly spend more money.
i dont want to debate the obvious with you, as you're one of the smarter ones.
don't believe the hype!
understanding is met only after confrontation. ya~meeeen!?
