Default Dyno And Tuning This Friday...

Im getting a dyno and tune this friday in the am.
i got him to come down 100.00 on the price or wave the 100.00
dollar free for life tunes fee. so the cost is 550.00
Pre-tune dyno pulls = $50.Custom HP Tune $450.After tune dyno pulls = $50.Lifetime Free Retune Option = $100. Complete dyno custom tune = $650. This will include reading and saving your stock tune, street scan of your stock tune and pre-tune & After-tune dyno pulls recorded. The tuning process then takes several hours to dial in the VE tables, rescale the MAF, dial -in the Power Enrichment table, Spark tables, Tranny tables, speed limiters, fan temps, All transmission settings, ect., Also included is a laminated graph showing both sets of pulls with corrected torque, HP, AFR ratio & RPM. We can also video tape the dyno pulls and put them on disc for you at no extra charge. Just let me know if you want that done when you drop the car off. You will notice a BIG difference in the way the car drives both at full-throttle and part-throttle. I believe I have time available next Thursday or Friday. I'll try to have the G8 available when you pick-up your car so that we can go for a ride and you can feel the difference with & without the nitrous. You can drop the car off in the morning between 9-11

i asked to see the whole prossess and he agreed to let me
do so. i have a hard time leaving my car in any1's care and
would not have done the service if i was unable to stay with vehical.
trust is earned, not given... but i feel good about this shop and it's abilities.
as always i'll update you all when i get back from the shop.

Awsome. You might have him set the fans to turn on sooner and make sure he disables the power reduce mode or what ever its called.

Who's doing the tune and which tuning software? FYI, there are no tranny tables or settings to adjust. What are your mods?

vcm suite 2.1 software
(he wrote trans shift (autos) where applicable.)
1100 mustang dyno and sofware
2. Eddy Current Power Absorber unit (PAU)- to
allow exact high-performance tuning of spark and fuel
curves with true real-world road load simulation. Up to
1500 Horsepower and 225 MPH Speed .

3. Wide-Band Sensor Air/Fuel Ratio Meter-
Accurately determines exhaust gas mixture over a wide
range of engine operating conditions with a fast
response time. Seamlessly integrates with your MD-
7000 Controller and Data Acquisition system for
graphing AFR against power, torque and engine rpm.
5. SmartTach Engine RPM Module- The SmartTach is
a precision speed measurement instrument designed
specifically for the development and testing
environment. Among its many innovations is the
capability to continuously measure speed form virtually
any type of signal.

if i can get to 350/342 i'll be happy...he may also mod my
stock inlet tube and am curious to see if any improvment there
as well. 333/328 hmmm? no faith in the truck motor huh? lol

so we got a 16hp/10tq...after tune.

c'mon jerrad give it to me str8t....

how it turns out as i cant controll the outcome...thats life, i've
learned to not stress over the things i cant controll.

Hopefully the tq will jump up a nice little bit. What weight are you going to tell him to put in the dyno program?

im gonna be honest with you...i went to his 1st anual
gto show and dyno day last week... his dyno isnt
generous by any means...just a heads up for you guys.
it spits out low numbers but thats not my concern...i am looking for
fine tuning my ratios, to run at optimum performance levels...number always very from dyno to dyno. so the base and after tune are whats important to me and what tells the real story for real impovment, if any!

Road and track has the weight at 3833. So I'd add the weight of the guy thats in the car and go at it. I doubt a few pounds would make a noticable diff.

okay 3833. i thought the car was 3890 with fluids. so i run it at 4050
(Ed's about 180-190lbs.) somewhere in the middle.
then again i forgot i gave up some weight with the exhaust and
x-pipe...est 20+ lbs ez. then again im 205...so 4050 it is.
