What are your mods?

The C6Z will go 0-100 in under 8 seconds, 0-120 in under 11 seconds, you must have a non-stock rear and over 500RWHP, as you are giving up over 700lbs.

The 2008 Snake is even faster, according to the mags:

Performance (2008 base model):
Dodge Viper fourth generation

0-60 mph (96km/h):3.5 sec
0-100 mph (160km/h):7.6 sec
quarter mile: 11.5 sec @ 129 mph (208 km/h)
top speed: 203 mph (327 km/h)
slalom: 70 mph (113 km/h)+
skidpad average acceleration: 1.06 g (10.4 m/s²)
100-0 mph: 270 ft (82 m)

Then, as onebadcad mentioned, not too many stock C5 Z06s out there.
No one mentioned from a roll, I stated based on a race, which unless any conditions are provided, assumes a drag race. From a roll is very subjective, as in our Vs we would like to go from 40, 65 and 95mph, given the gearing. I love my V, love my power, but I have yet to be able to use it 100% with confidence, and if you have yet to break a diff, you will not consider its limitations in a race.

from a roll a stock c5z06 has zero chance against a maggied V. From a dig,we all know our cars SUCK no matter whose behind the wheel, our cars werent made to be fast from a stop, we all know that, lets put it aside, and not harp on races that poke at our major weakness.

I refuse to race ppl from a dig on the street. Traction is dangerous...and in addition I know I will lose, and it doesnt exhibit the cars true potential

It sucks that this is the case for us. Sounds like a Honda owner.

Depends on the kind of race. In a 1/4 mile from a dig the Z should win. Face it, we can't launch and the extra lbs don't help either. That's why most Maggie'd V's are in the upper 12 sec range.

But from a roll they should be close. Look at the trap speeds for both cars and you will see they are in the 117 mph range give or take a few clicks.

Again, driver's race, it is definitely not a guaranteed win for the V. We can bench race all day on the forum, someone with a 450-470RWHP V needs to set this up and tape it. A word of caution for the V owner, hard shifts at 6,600rpms will also grenade your diff, not just wheel-hopping launches. I know this as a fact,,,

BTW, make sure the C5Z does not have a tune, as this gets 'em another 20RWHP. For those willing to do this, post on the Vette section, I am sure you will have some takers, provided you can find a few non-modded Zs.

414 LS3 stroker, 2 stages of nitrous, etc....

Now goin with a fogger and more nitrous. But yeah make pretty short work of the 08 vipers. A few friends have them.

[QUOTE=onebadcad;10111060]...
Stock C6Z>any CTS-V (except maybe Bob's), 550RHWP V still gets annihilated

Nice your giving centrifugals the nudge.

Onebadcad said these are from a gig, not roll on.

Ehh let them have a tune, if someone cant take a 380rwhp z06 (or less) in a bolt on (intake headers exhaust) and maggied/tuned V from a roll...I will lose respect for my own car.

You're H/C 4?? rwhp setup is harder to argue and compare against.

It's when the conversation got into "What does it take to run with/beat a ____", that a "Maggied V" became more or less a measuring cup for comparison purposes.

So for them to compare a supercharged car putting very little down over my heads and cam why would I?? I was trying to get some insight about the C5 but it seems to be a freak putting down 390 with cold air kit
