Default Video of wife's best 1/4 mi pass

This was her first time on the track in the CTS-V or any car for that matter:

She made several passes around 14.0, that's why the crowd cheered when she got in the 13s. I remember running my bone stock '01 Z06 there and trapping maybe 108 or so.

My g/f made the one and only pass in my CTSV. Not her first run but the first in a manual. It looked like a perfect run. She left off of idle and cut a 2.035 60' and went a 8.513 @ 88.35 (1/8 mile track). She is a slow shifter and kissed the rev limiter a tad bit, but it was still far better than I had expected.

The next run she tried stalling it up to about 2000 (even though she was told not to), it spun a few feet then made a little pop and left pieces of differential and gear oil all over the track. Which was exactly the reason that I was afraid to run it myself.

Jon

And according to dragtimes.com the DA for that run was around 1900'.

It was @ Beech Bend in Bowling Green, KY. We were there for the Z06 Fest. The DA was 2300.

Did you have a KARSIII kit on at the time that she popped the diff?

Yes, I think it may have aided in splitting the case. I still use the KARS III but no longer with the diff support.

13.7??? Wow, that's pretty good considering the humidity, drivetrain, etc.
