Default B&M shifter, near new

B&M CTS-V shifter. Bought a few months ago, installed and removed about 1 month ago. It has less than 200 miles on it. Near new condition. I will include some dynamatt-like sheeting that I had on the side if you want to wrap the shifter. I will post photos tomorrow.

$190 shipped to you.

Why did you remove it?

Wife wanted stock quiet. The B&M was a very precise and solid shifter, but revving the engine produced some vibration noises in the shifter. Modified stocker went back in, so this is sitting on a shelf.

keep it.

the **** rattle is due to he stock junker not seating on the b&m stalk well.. cut the top section of the stalk off at the indention, and the stock **** will fit fine, wont rattle. then wrap the stalk with some of the dynamat stuff, put some on the plate area. get a holden/gto ****, and you wont look back. if you dont have the uuc shifter bushings it may be worth getting those too but benefit may s seem minimal since youve had the b&m in.

otherwise if you are going to stay stock, look into the modified one being sold by a forum member, at least youll get the short shifter benefits with the "quiet"...

I have the one by the forum member. The shifter handle fit firm, that was something I was aware of, I have the UUC bushings. I should have been more thorough with the dynamatt wrapping. I am not going to swap shifters again, unless the one in the car takes a dump. I thought about keeping it just in case, but I'd rather have the money in the bank.

Post some pics.

Is the B&M any shorter than a stock modded shifter? I have a stock modded in my car and its pretty short...

It be sold.

It might be a little shorter than stock, but I think the pivot point is raised from the stock location.

Oh ok so its basically the same as the modded stocker. It just moves the pivot point.

Thanks for the info.
