For sale is my 2005 Cadillac CTS-V. It has the LS6 engine with 97,600 miles. I am the second owner, the previous owner was a woman. She bought it new from Sewell and I have a folder full of the service she had done there. Other than replacing the stock motor and transmission mounts with Creative Steel mounts, I've kept the car 100% stock. It has never been performance tuned, and I don't rag on it. I've replaced the front mats with Lloyd mats, the old mats are still in pretty good shape, other than heel wear on the drivers side, and will be included. The engine cover will also be included. It's not installed because I prefer running the car without it. The battery is brand new. The water pump went out a few months ago and I replaced it with an F-Body pump. There is some wear on the stereo buttons, as was typical for these cars. The previous owner was not a smoker, and I'm not a smoker, so the car smells great. The paint could use a good clay-barring and has typical signs of a car it's age/mileage. There is a slight 'crease' on the rear passenger-side pillar. I'm not sure what it was hit with since it was there when I bought it, but it isn't very noticeable unless you're really close to it. It has all of the amenities...leather/suede seats, power locks, windows, seats, lumbar, heated front seats, cruise, ice cold air conditioning, OnStar, DVD player, 6-disc in-dash CD player, BOSE stereo, navigation, Brembo brakes, etc. The tires are in excellent condition, the wheels have some blemishes, but nothing too noticeable. I've overlaid the front fog & signal lights as well as the rear reverse lights in perforated black vinyl, so they look blacked out when off and orange & white (respectively) when on.
I absolutely love this car, I'm just ready to be in a truck again. I'm asking $17,750 and that's about the cheapest you'll find a comparable CTS-V for, so please, no low-*****.

I'd love to see the links to said cars.
And for the record...we all know that virtually no one sees an ad for a car anywhere and just pays the asking price. Anyone in their right mind tries to get the vehicle for less. That being the case, I've priced it so that I have some wiggle room to negotiate with the inevitable person that's interested and asks what my lowest price is.

Badass car man. Sucks when people try to crash a for sale ad. Take it to pm's.
I just did a nationwide autotrader search for an 05 V with under 100k miles under $15k. Guess how many I found. Zilch.
There are 21 for sale between $15k to $20k including this one. I'm betting that condition of vehicle is probably what seperates the cheapest from the most expensive. Plus some people might not care that you are only the second owner but that is huge in my book. Bought mine from a one owner and that was a big factor.

It's cool - there are a few on every forum. He won't post up a bunch in the price range he claims because there aren't a bunch out there. He'll do some exhaustive searches, trying to find a comparable car for that price, won't find many to back up his claim, and then he'll just not post or he'll post up something to be argumentative.
I've bought and sold close to 20 cars in the past few years. Buyers expect the prices to come down. Sellers expect to be haggled. It's priced accordingly.

Lmao. You arent doing the search right. Dont search cts-v, but search cts. Most dont post that in the heading and in that case they wount all pop up. This car is beautiful and outta my price range. I am not trying to get him to drop his price and its too much work on an iPhone to copy and paste. I dont have that kind of patience. Thanks guys.
My F-body just got totaled last week (I wasnt drivin it and i wasnt even in the car) and your all right, I dont know much about em. All I know is I want one badd. They're sick.

I do remember one on here sojersey05v who had a little over 100k and wound up only getting 13k for it and it was in good shape. Otherwise I havent seen many V's at all go for under or close to 15k. Good luck with the sale OP, ive said it once and ive said it before, this is the worst place to sell a car cause you get a lot of know it all's who liek to low ball. Post it up on craigslist and weed through the scammers and youll get close to your asking.....18k seems fair IMO.
I agree with itslow98. Car isn't priced too high. I'd post it on craigs and you'll prob have better luck. I posted my car on a few forums awhile back for $17k firm and it had 115k on it when listed. Has 120k now. I decided to keep it the next day after listing it but had tons of interest. I'm still getting random texts and emails about it and I listed it 6 months ago. Lol I need to not be lazy and take the ads down but I can't figure out why people would looks so far back in the ads anyway. Just last week, I had a guy asking what it would take to talk me out of it and to sell it to him. Asked me to save his number and let him know if I changed my mind and he'd come get it. I don't think you'll have a problem moving it. Just be patient and move through the low ballers and tire kickers.
