Added some Corvette FRCs
I picked up this set very cheap on ebay last week, and was trying to think of something to do to them... paint them, duracoat them, etc., but I grabbed a $2 white paint pen and painted the raised graphics on it at the bottom, and it turned out to be a really nice, subtle difference. took me about 2 minutes to roll the paint pen over the raised graphics, very easy.
here's a pic with the top one painted and the bottom is original.

Not a bad deal, sounds like. I like the white you did on the 5.7 and 'ribs'...Now, is there a way to get rid of the 'corvette'?
I know most people like that, just something I don't care for, but that's me. I know the same engine(s) was used in the 'vette, so I guess it sort of makes sense.

Plus, it helps clear up questions at the events like "what engine is that?", "is that a corvette engine?", "is that a v6?" or the best one I've had so far... "is that a Northstar V8?" lol....

Looks nice! If you want to keep the "CORVETTE" part, it might look better to go over them with the same white color.

I think the white looks nice. Hope it doesnt get dirty though but i guess if it does, it could easily be redone.
Id do the corvette in white too. That would def look unique...
Im looking for a set for mine at the moment as well. I hate the huge caddy cover. I'm looking for the red FRC's with black lettering but if i can find a set of those black ones for cheap, i wont complain. Either way, as long as they say 5.7L, ill use em. I dont wanna be posing or anything with the LS2 covers... lol
