I love the look of those plates. I've been toying around with the idea since day one, but haven't pulled the trigger. So, is it for certain that personalized licence plates have to pay a yearly fee?

Yes. There's an annual fee for personalized plates. They tag it on top of your registration. Back in 1997 when I had some it was like $55 but I'm sure it higher now. Start saving for it!

I wanted LS6 CTS or LS6 V ever since I bought the car last January. But by the time I had some extra cash to blow they were both taken. When my girlfriend told me they were offering the 7 charcter plates I had to get them. I even had to order them from my iPhone cause they went on sale at 7am and I am at work every morning by 6. That was a pain but it was worth it.

Ekshail- go to my plates.com for all the pricing and availability Edit: looks like they run from 30 to 80 dollars a year. If u get them for a 10 year increment

A-bomb tell ur buddy thanx for getting the ls6 v plate. I like mine better

I always wanted the 7-8 letters.

For my 3 main cars:
LAYGO'S V
LAYGO SS
LAYGO VW

The People's Republic of Maryland has 7 digit personalized plates but have been disinclined to grant several of my requests thusfar...

"TAXRAPD"
"GETAJOB"
"FRELDRS"
"GMESUM2"

Funny thing is for as little as these people do you think they would have a better sense of humor. I can't wait to finally come home and move.

AZ is only $25 a year, I am glad we make it cheap enough that i don't mind paying it. (don't ask what the rest of the plates cost though...)
