You can try these guys. They do a lot of the machine work for the known LSx shops in TO. They have deck plates that go to 4.20" too, they did my block.

http://www.nashengines.com/

For assembly, cams, tune and stuff like that Champion is a good place to start.

Rate wise I have no ideas. My Mast heads were ready to bolt on.

I decided to go to nashengines. Service was good/quick..same day.Got the heads milled .030 and degreased. As 'cam' mentioned, they advised me not to bother porting the 243's for such small gains and aftermarket castings would be more ideal if I wanted to chase every hp out of the heads but for a street car I would be happy as they are milled with my cam on the lq4.

I would do business with them again and recommend them. Thanks for the help guys,Ill be sure to post when the car is back together and in Champion for a retune. They are 3 blocks away from me.Always nice to hear the vettes roaring in there.

Glad it worked out for you. I was pretty confident it would.

I drove from Burlington to have them do my block, if that tells you anything.

Those 3.23s are killing you man! Im sure a bump to 373 or 4.10 would help you a tone getting out of the whole. I know your probubly doing it from a longevity standpoint but that would seriously wake up car. Going to need some sticky tires too which i have up for sale in the classifieds just a heads up

Oh I know the car would love some more gear but I do like how it cruises the hwy just around 1300 rpm in 6th at 125km/h nice and calm sipping fuel lol.

Im thinking of going to 3.42 for now till I break my stock 9 bolt.Once that happen..and it will ..then ill be doing a ford 9 and give it 4.10s and play around.

I've ran 4.10s with boltons and with the built motor. Keeps the engine in the powerband alot better and just all around awesome combo with the 6 spd. At 120km it turns about 2k still getting 25+mpg. Took 4yrs of abuse with boltons and 1yr with the motor before it threw in the towel lol.

Anyone ever hear of Head and Block specialty in Hamilton? I need to have my crank balanced but a few people have told me they run older equipment and its not zero'd? I already had my block work done.

Might go to Champion for the tune/dyno

For balancing out this way you might want to look at Balancing Act in St Catherines. They did my assembly. Not much of a drive from Hamilton.
