No pcm is not locked. I'll bring a wideband-you just need to make sure you have an accessible bung before the cat.

Make your runs and I'll record and make changes as required.

Then you can go for a drive and I will record and log that and calibrate as necessary.

Cost depends on the mods-PM me or email me at arun@ccperf.com or fire me a text at 519-502-0915.

That's the way it is for me in the prairies. My runs last July were at 3800 DA. This year I'm going to go to a different track, hoping for 2500.

Not great either considering the tracks elevation is only 630ft above sea level.

No 11's yet but weight reduction a new tune and 15" Slicks and Skinny's should get me there.

Well she went quicker and faster on each pass 4 good runs made in total before what little prep they had was gone and so was I by 8:45pm.

DA was a fantastic 104 ft but there was a slight side head wind.

So right off the street at 7pm with a 10 minute cool down after tech

60ft 1.757 1/8th 7.9 at 87.52 1/4 12.383 at 110.17 not bad.

Hot Lapped at 7.09pm

60ft 1.742 1/8th 7.867 at 87.84mph 1/4 12.34 at 110.29 getting better

Hot Lap #2 at 7.14pm

60ft 1.735 1/8th 7.868 at 87.62 1/4 12.353 at 109.95 she never has like the 3rd run in a row.

20 minute cool down 7.34pm

60ft 1.729 1/8th 7.846 at 87.65 1/4 12.332 at 109.86 best of the night.

Next pass I blew the tires off in the right lane and the pass after that in the left lane.

That was enough, I need it to leave harder and it wasn't happening or going to happen so I packed up and came home.

I think the 17's have to go and I need a 15"slick and skinny combo.

I have the VATS code- I just need to go buy some resistors and fix it now.

Alright, Alright, Alright.... I've been putting some more thought into how I am going to set this up.

I decided I'm going to make another thread here within the next week or so which will be the dumping grounds for where you guys give me your times / proof of times with some info.

I'm going to host the results on my website because I can build them out into a spreadsheet that has a live sorting function PLUS I want to open this up to all the Canadian Forums and get a real bragging rights fun competition piece going on. I'm hoping to post this up in the local clubs pages to...

So in the "Dump" thread I'll have the link to all the results in the first post, which will be updated anytime someone comes in and posts something.

Now- my question to all of you is these are the categories I've created:

Forum Name | Vehicle | 60' | 1/8 mile |1/4 mile | Modification list | Video / timeslip link | Forum

That should be good right? Should I add something else?

Then next question- what categories should we introduce for this?

- Fastest Bolt on only LS1 F-body
- Fastest Cam only LS1 F-body
- Fastest N/A LS1 period
- Fastest LS1 Period
- more? less?

What about the vette guys? Should we do one separate for them or change the bolt on F-body to Bolt on LS1 (must be in factory equipped GM frame- so no bolt on LS1 civics/go karts)

The 4 categories are good but why not one more for swapped LS vehicles?

Bolt on LS will do but it has to be a vehicle that came with an LS,could be a FWD LS4, GTO,Vette,G8,Gen 5 Camaro,SSR or Trailblazer maybe even a Colorado with a 5.3L they did make them.

So this data isn't accurate yet, this is just populated a little bit so I could play around with the functions of the table and see how it all kinda fits together and what spacing and stuff is like

Tell me what you guys think of this setup? maybe I should just add what track the run was at?

Any other info you think we should nab?

I kinda like that you can sort by 1/4 time, 1/8 time, forum name, vehicle, stuff like that just by clicking those arrows

Great spreadsheet only thing I would add is race weight and maybe final gear ratio. You got me in for 13.2 I'm at 12.4 now and stall size is 4000. Still not enough for top spot on the bolt on list...dammit

Well I guess a 402 bolts onto the motor mounts

Seriously a bolt on by most definitions I have seen doesn't touch oil.

So heads, cams, cranks, pistons and rockers don't count.

Nitrous,Turbos and Superchargers are considered power adders.

Wheels,Tires,Headers,Throttle Bodies, injectors, fuel pumps, cold air intakes, manifolds(Fast,MSD ect)ecm tunes, converters, clutches, gears, rear ends and suspension are all bolt ons.

Dale don't worry about the chart numbers right now lol- I'll be wiping the chart completely clean and everyone will need to submit their times in another thread that I start so that I have all the information and it is accurate and if anyone wants to challenge anything all that info is there kinda thing. This was just to see spacing and kinda give everyone an example...I made up a bunch of numbers in there and mods just to fill some space lol

I'll look at adding those suggestions. I might have those things fall under the modifications tab.

So what are classing as bolt on that leaves the door pretty wide open
When I fire up the other thread and finalize a few things, I'll have all the rules laid out for each class. I've drafted up the rules right now just need to kinda once over them one more time before I make everything live and start the other thread.

I'll also make a template in the other thread where you just copy my submission criteria and put your info in so we don't miss anything and it is super easy and effortless for most people.

Tom, I was actually thinking last night that bolt on was with a stock intake manifold- LS1 or LS6 swapped allowed since it was an option from GM on the 2001-2002 cars. Butttttt now thinking about it a little more maybe we could open that up to the Fast intakes and what not hmmm

But ya, no head work, no block work, no forced induction or nitrous...suspension mods would be ok, rear end swaps and gearing would be ok, trans mods ok...

In any event, anyone who doesn't fit the bolt on only class would be able to go into the anything goes class... although I haven't accounted for motor swaps- hmm I'll think about that a little more to
