Default Project : F01

Well, after a long break I am back in an fbody.
Just made a deal on a 2001 Z28 M6 with 145,000km one owner car, finished in Pewter.

Driveline is currently out, building a cammed 6.0 and T56. Should be a fun street car.

Some quick pictures of it as it sits :

Scraping the 6.0 route as I found a complete LS1/T56 take out. Pulling it out of the donor car tonight. Getting new :
-Comp Cam
-Timing Chain
-Valve springs/lifters/valve seals etc

Also "Bergered" the rear taillight panel :

From the pics looks like a hardtop. Nice score. I like the Berger blackout too.

Donor driveline is out after a few hours of wrenching last night. Now to tear her down and get the cam/valvetrain done, and then stab it into my Camaro.

Went by to see the old girl tonight. All gaskets came in, heads are out at machine shop and cam/valve train is there. Should be in a running this weekend and hopefully on road early next week.

also cleaned the intake, eventually it'll get LS6 or a FAST.
