Default Getting parts in canada

Hey folks, new member here. Just started building my first ls based engine, an LM7 to be exact. Can anyone recommend a decent place to order parts from in Canada? I love places like summit racing but the duties and shipping blah!
Cheers!

Summit Racing offers free shipping to Canada on orders more than $299US. No hidden fees or surprises.

That's good for the big orders and will work when I get my cam but what about smaller things?

I have yet to find a "go to" source for parts in Canada.
I'm fortunate to live close to the border and maintain a US address to ship to.

I have bought some products through amazon but you have to watch the pricing carefully. Sometimes it's decent other time's not so much.

For stock type parts it's hard to beat Rock auto. They are US of course but shipping is generally reasonable.

I had luck with Performance Cellar in Stoney Creek. Only looking into Comp Cams rockers and Evans coolant, but his prices were very competitive with the US, higher but less than 10% which is very reasonable after exchange.

Like jlangley said, if you're close to a border crossing there are companies that will provide you with a US shipping address for a small fee. We have saved thousands of dollars over the years using a company called CBI in Niagara Falls, NY. and like the above post said, Rock Auto has reasonable and super fast shipping to Canada. I usually get my orders in 3-4 days. Just do a little homework and you will save a lot of money...all the best!

MOPAC auto in Alberta and Performance Plus Saskatoon were great for sourcing parts for myself.

There's also an auto wrecker in Edmonton called David T's. He has absolutely everything but things don't go for cheap. Another option for you if stuck.

https://www.crossborderpickups.ca/

Check them out. That's probably the way you wanna go, especially with all that's going on and if just smaller items.

I have been ordering from Summit and the shipping price is all in including taxes.

There shouldn't be any duty on auto parts made in the USA due to NAFTA or whatever Trump renamed it.
