JP Shootout This looks like a great event going on this weekend at TMP. Is anyone attending as a spectator or a racer?
We would normally be racing but decided to take an event off and take our time getting the car ready for the next OSCA event. We are in the middle of the install of my new datalogger and wideband o2.
I will be attending all weekend. I hope all the big name guys from the US show up that said they would. I know Billy Glidden is going to show up. It will be cool to watch him race. It will also be great to see how all the local 10.5 guys run up against some of the big names. Too bad there are two 10.5" outlaw/super street classes though!

Well JP has their own 10.5" Outlaw class that most of the American guys will be running in. Then there is the OSCA 10.5" Super Street that will also be running. I wish they werent dividing the cars up that much. I believe at the end they are running the finalists of each class against one another or something like that.
I believe the only difference between the two classes is the weights? I havent looked that close at the rules..

I am sure the US 10.5 Outlaw class will be lighter than the OSCA Super Street.
I know Glidden will be running at like 2450lbs.. I dont think an NA sbf with a single stage could be that light in OSCA Super Street.

Yah there are a lot of classes without many cars inthem but I think it was still a good night of racing.. There were some Super Street cars runnin strong! Lotsa 7.0s! The air was great.

Yah, Saturday was excellent.
The weather this morning sucked and they called off the race way too early.. Now its fairly clear and warm enough to have the track dry up quick. Bad call IMO!
