Default Canadian Performance

Just wanted to start a thread regarding this shop. I built up an engine on my own with parts purchased off the parts for sale board and through various site sponsors. I did all the work myself and was about to purchase software and learn tuning but just cant give anymore time to this car so I was on the search for a tuner. I was willing to drive deep into the U.S if need be to get a good tune but made some posts and did quite a bit of research and even though I was nervous I figured I would try Canadian Performance out and I am very glad I did.

Great guys and I couldn't be happier with my tune this thing FLIES now.

The difference from where i started on my own pre tune to where I am now is dramatic to say the least. Not only did i get a good tune but I received rock solid advice on a few parts I needed to bring it up to where it should be and the mind blowing thing about it all was NONE of the parts I needed were things Dave sold me. Hows that for customer care eh?

( hadta throw a gratuitous eh in there for Canadians )

These dudes are truely passionate gear heads still in it for the fun not just the coin and I can tell you that is not a common attitude in the business world but absolutely necessary for the performance game. Daves tuner is such a good guy I could yak away about cars with that dude for days.

I had never met any of these guys before this tuning experience and put this thread up so any other guys in the same shoes who may wonder about this place can have a first hand review from an outsider.

Great shop. Great tune. Happy customer. Thanks boys see you at the track

I don't know about flowers bro-but she'd glady take your truck-that's one sweet ride . Gotta work on getting my F150 to perform similar-after Norwalk we'll have to order up that exhaust-but that setup you have sure sounds good-is there any resonance inside?

of course there is...DroneMasters....SlowMaster....Flowbasterds... ..but they sound deadly so i like em

With the Magaflow kit on ur truck...it would virtually be unoticable at crusuing etc...Magaflows are very good for no resonance...I'll ask around on PT about it tho

Yah if u want it I'll get it for yah and You can just come to my hose and will put it on the hoist and get it done

Good to hear that Dave and the guys are getting the props they deserve. They truly do know their stuff and the hairs on the back of my neck don't stand up when I'm doing business with them.

Where exactly is this shop located?
I going to be in the market in aout a year to install a procharger D-1sc and want a blower cam added, a tune, and prob port the heads.
Can you guys at this shop sell the procharger kit or just the install, or both?
Can you dyno and street tune?

Comparable rates? stand behind what you sell, build?

Motor wise, I'm aiming for 540-550rwhp with the blower.

We are located in Pickering. I can get the procharger kit for you, add a cam and port the heads. All of our tuning is road tuned first then dyno tuned. We do stand behind our work and 550 is MAX I would go with the stock pistons.

And without a doubt, a meth kit will be needed.

Thanks, sounds like I may have to bring the Hawk by when I'm ready.

As for pistons, would you recommend a forged short block or could you just add forged slugs and the rest of the the bottom end can take it?
