Hi I am new to the site, and am building a frame up 68 Chevelle. I was wondering if anyone is actually running this engine? and how does it go? Planning on tko 600 5 speed along with it. Thanks

I was wondering the same thing.

I also wondered if it would be cheaper to buy the base version of that same engine and cam it. i think the only difference between the lower HP model and the 515 HP version is the cam.

I too was considering the base version and throwing in a hotter cam and carb intake. I wonder if you could save by doing it this way, and maybe gain more power with a better cam.
