motor should not need 35 degrees of timing.

you 100% need to hook up the retard wire for use on nitrous. you WILL burn it up with high timing and nitrous.

do not use the pills for max ET, but they will get you up and running just fine.

Just curious Tim....how is that 24* working out? Have you ever hooked up a laptop and maximized those 3 little guages down at the left bottom of the screen? It would be interesting to see what the degrees of timing it actually has under load at full throttle. Ron

The retard is adjustable from 0*-15* in 1* increments.
Also has adjustable minimum and max timing.
Looking at these tables I know I will not be using a pill/module.
Nice thing is I can use our dyno to see what the motor likes. Then I can try it at the track. Some cars like a bit of timing retard in high gear if they are big, heavy or large frontal area causing drag.

my camaro ran its best MPH (121) with 32*, but repeated that mph all the way up to 36* . I have my curve set up with a 2* reduction at 5000rpm,which is where I beleive torque peak is.the reduction begins at 4k,drops 2* out at 5k, and is back to full timing by 6K. This did not make any difference in mph, but I programmed it in there since I cant get any better than 91 octane, and I dont even trust it to be 91
