Alright guys lets hear it. Who here has sprayed an LS motor running a carb? Who has sprayed with stock pistons and how much did you spray? Im thinking about a 125 shot on my 6.0.

We quite a few carb guys spraying these motors. What intake is on your car?
The stock pistons in the lq motors are very stout. Correct plugs, enough fuel pump, and pulling the right amount of timing a 125 is bullet proof on one of these bottom ends.
About the only worry you will have is some distribution with plates depending on the intake. We offer spray bars as much better (IMO) plumbed directly into the intake. Here is our solution to the distribution issues:

A 150 shot will last forever in these and out carbed intakes actually are better for nitrous over any EFI intake any day when a plate kit is utilized.
Several are spraying 200 or more, it is in the tune, but a 150 is really nothing.
Had some guys say i was dumb for wanting to spray 20 on my LQ4 because i was already approaching over 550 FWHP, but once again, it is in the tune. Some run just 93 octane while others are safer and run some race fuel, i personally have a separate fuel cell with higher octane that sprays in with the nitrous to make damn sure there is no detonation issues.

Cannot wait to see how hard that birch rolls out, gonna be 10s on motor im sure, wonder how much further it will go on the gas!
It is really they way to go, just like Nelson Racing Engines, they have dual injectors per cylinder to have a secondary fuel system throw race fuel in when the boost comes in heavy.
Wont matter, they all love nitrous, some just more than others.

I've got forged Probe pistons in my car. When I first went carb I was hitting it with a cheap Powershot kit (125 shot) and the Edelbrock control box with pill #6 which had 36* of timing.
Haven't shot the car since I put the Edelbrock Performer RPM kit and MSD 6010 box on but it's set at 28* on the gas

My new setup is going this direction in fact Nitrous Outlet is working on my direct port setup now. I have jetting to run between a 200-600 shot of the good stuff. Obviously I'm going to start small and see how far my ********* will allow me to push it.
I've seen guys spraying 150-200 all day long on stock bottom ends and no related engine issues. A good tune is your meal ticket ![Thumb](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/thumb.gif)
Just make sure the rest of the drivetrain is ready for the added power!!
