should run it without a filter at the track with the spacer, then we'd really know what's going on.

I am confident that the addition of my 4 hole spacer would have netter a tenth gained rather than a tenth lost, but there it no room and I want to go back to the jr with a 4 hole since the drivability is better with the spacer as well.

I have a friend selling 6.0 longblock and I really don't feel like piecing together parts to get it back to efi, so I'm thinking of carbing it and using the victor jr intake. I notice all you guys on here have huge cowl hoods for clearance. I'm not doing it for racing but just to make this swap simple. Do you guys think this setup will fit under a stock hood of a 86 C10 pickup? This is my daily and I really don't want it to look hot rodded out.

A carbed LS1 will fit under the hood of an 86 Chevy full sized pickup with enough room for 4" air cleaner and a pan on top to cook breakfast when you go camping.

Ok, thanks. I just noticed everyone here has a hood scoop with the victor jr. Is everyone getting this particular intake cause it's the only on the market for this carb swap?
