Default throttle rod on 69 nova

i finally got the 6.0 set in my nova saturday.i ended up breaking the throttle arm off the firewall when i sat the engine in.has anyone used the throttle lever style(67-69 camaro is the same) with a carbed setup?it looks so close i thought the rod may hit the back of motor.i wanted to kow if it'll work or do i need to change to a cable setup,thanks

I used a nova throttle rod/firewall bracket on my 67 camaro. they are the same, and it works just fine. I did grind a little for clearence to the engine, but I had to do that with the BBC that was in there too.

hey 3 pedals....what oil pan did ya use for the 6l swap..?

I used the original truck pan. I cut the sump down 2". In hind sight I should have purchased a larger capacity pan that is not as deep as the oem pan. I will probably end up with the Moroso pan.
