Basically like the title says...is there any way to use the knock sensors with a carb and MSD 6010. I don't necessarily care if the MSD can "see" it, but I'd like to. You know, kind of like a wideband with a gauge?

MSD makes a knock sensor that is run totally seperately. I had it in my Big Block, and am planing on using it in my LS. I just havent checked to see if the knock sensor will fit in the side of the block. Hope this helps, Eric L

I think the sensor is a GM sensor in the MSD set up. But even using your existing sensors, you would need a way to read them. Eric L

J&S electronics has a stand alone system that will let you know if it seeing deto and backs the timing of for you. It can also do boost retard as well. I got mine setup for the factory sensors.
