Got her in there, damn motor mount adapter plates are the best i have used, tried one side for the headers and needs a touch of clearance for the A arm upper mount, just a touch, no biggie, but it is in and now i need to put the rest of it together.

I see ARP has 2 different sets of head bolts listed, at least on Summit racing site.

Whats the difference, besides price ?

I was incorrect, i didnt take time to really look, the header was not up enough, it was the heat shield on the pass side that made it hit since it could not go up to proper install height, the 1 inch set backs work but the straight up pieces they were designed for would be better, here are some teasers, still plenty of work left but here is a idea of it:

I dont know Tigger. Compared to what an aging TBI motor gets, I think he might do alright. JMHO. It will be interesting to see what it gets when Zone is done. As always Zone, your speed and swiftness amazes me, lol. But you have to at least paint the block, lol. Eric L

It is what i had laying around, funds started getting too tight to get a new intake when i had one i could use right now.
Yes, i am using the stock in tank pump with Mallory bypass regulator, fuel consumption will go down compared to the 15/16 MPH TBI system.
I am shooting for 20+ but if it isnt over that, i think the Performer RPM will give it the extra low end cruising grunt to really make sure it does.
Yea, more fuel economy was a primary goal with this swap, so being it was a 4.8 and not a 5.3 did not make me bothered one bit. I try to get as much done as i can, when i am on my off days, which i was the last three, i have the determination of a mad man. I did not have any engine block enamel, but i wish i would have.

Trying to make the stock gauges work, voltage is good, but i made the adapter for the oil pressure to work, but it is pegged out like it is not hooked up, so i need to find the ground that is not hooked up so it will work, fuel level is good, tach will be working and i am still trying to figure out how the FAST trans controller will deliver the speedo signal with the one wire it outputs, since the stocker has two wires running to the tail.

Alright, took a 1 day break, then the next day i cleaned the damn garage, it was bothering me, friends use the garage and what not so it becomes a mess from tome to time. But, i fabbed a bracket for the TPS, it is hooked up and the FAST trans controller reads it fine, so the controllers harness if for the 88-91 TBI TPS sensor. Plugs right in:

Found the oil pressure sending unit would not work, we were dumbfounded why it magically decided to not do jack. Then we reinstalled the hood light noticing a ground up there, looked at the oil gauge and it was working, go figure.

Installed a mount for the 6012 box, i think it is in a good a place as any, kind of where a distributor should be:

Still need to hot key the fuel pump and get a 12 v keyd wire fro the trans controller, but it is installed, still need to clean the wiring up a bit, but she will be ready exhaust god willing after tomorrow.
