THE CAR IS BEING CONVERTED FROM A V6 FIREBIRD TO A CARBED LS1. THE CAR WILL HAVE LONGTUBES AND EXHAUST, PORT MATCHED HEADS/INTAKE AND A 650-700CFM CARB. IM JUST TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT CAM MY BUDDY CAN RUN SO WE CAN GET IT ORDERED. HE WANTS A CHOPPY LOPE AND POWER RANGE MATCHED TO THE EDELBROCK INTAKE.AND SINCE YOU GUYS IN HERE RUN CARBED LS1's YOU GUYS MIGHT KNOW WHICH TO RUN AND WHICH NOT TO RUN?? ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Anything you can find with a .600ish lift, on a 108-110 LSA, duration at 228 on the intake and 234 on the exhaust would work well, if you can find a grind that resembles that, you would be in a good range for a 90% street, 10% strip, street bruiser, sound would be awesome, power would come in very soon and still pull to 6800 RPM.
Something like this with its optional 111 LSA would do great:

Or this cam, which has a lower lift on the intake:
Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft
"Split Pattern" - 230/236 .592/.602 112 LSA 2400-6800 RPM Power Band

Hope that is some ideas of what would be great, this will require at least a 3000 converter. Unless you are speaking of a manual trans.
