6.0 mustang upgrade time
time to upgrade the old stang. stock carbed 6.0 lq4 right now. picked up some 243s for $300 shipped off ebay. going with a comp 222/228 .581/.588 114. 2800 stall going in also. subframe connectors on the way. maybe go with an aluminum driveshaft also. anybody got a guess of what hp/tq this setup will make at the wheels?

i looked at a 3500 stall but i was thinking that was too much for the street with the 350 and 3.27 gear. exhaust consist of longtubes and 2.5 with 40 series flow masters. would like to have some magna flows if i knew how it would sound. 400 rwhp or more is what i looking for.

Ditch the flows, they usually hold back, if you do not mind the extra sound, bullets would be a straight through and sound fantastic.
Have one on my TA:

Otherwise, a single chamber flow sounds good and will allow more exhaust to exit than the multi chambered flows, i have knock off single chambers on my RS, they are decent.
The larger converter might be a bit too much on your car with that gear, but it might not since it is light.

I have a similar combo in a 88 notch lq4 bbk 351 swap headers holley 750dp vic jr 243's patriot dual springs tsp 224/224 588 588 112 lsa cam th400 3500 stall 3.5in steel d/s made 370rwhp timing was 28 degrees idk what the a/f was so maybe there was some fine tuning there yet the car was open headers at the time I had just finished the swap about 3 hrs prior to the dyno. I think this 224 cam is to small for the 6 liter id like to go with something in the high 230s or low
240's duration in the future but the cam was free from a buddy and it was better than using a stock cam lol.
