New best tonight. Minor tune changes and good air netted a 7.28 @ 95.6. Based on my other time tickets, this should put me at 11.47 @ 118 in the 1/4.

Awesome! sound like a perfect place to be! A slight shift point change and you can run 11:50's and not get booted from the track! With the NOS you have planned I expect you could run 10's easy !!!!!

i was talking about my 68 camaro. its gone a best of 11.302 at 120 and change.11s would be great in the 72 ! it just boggles my mind that a build as mild as mine would be capable of that kind of performance.

Chris at Circle D says that if I step up the converter from a 2B (2800) to a 3B (3500), I will pick go 2 tenths quicker. But, I really like the way this one drives.

I have never ported my intake to match my head either, so there is some power there too.

I have also considered backing up the cam a bit. It is in at 109 ICL. I am thinking it might pick up a bit in at 110 ICL.

i have always port matched my intake to heads in the past, but with the combo in the 72 with those huge intake runner on the LS3 heads, i didnt want to open things up anymore. sure doesnt match up great though. i was a little disappointed that the vic jr didnt line up w my stock ports. you would think brother Ed would have used a set of heads like mine to build the L92 intake off of. the converter in the 72 stalls(according to my tach) right on the money for what was sold to me. tires start to turn right at 2200 holding the brakes, dont know where it flashes to yet. my 68 needs a converter bad, only stalls around 2000 on the brakes, flashes to about 3000. my cam dosnt comein till about 4500. my 60s are in the 1.7s, the right converter would get me in the 1.5s. dont think 10.90s would be out of the question. not too worried about it, because i dont have a rollbar and i wont be installing one

This is where I am at. It is easy to get carried away. I don't want to go there this time.

I will probably try it at some point. I still haven't match ported the intake to the heads, so I will probably do that next.
